Accommodation
Calvert Trust Kielder provides welcoming, well-equipped
and accessible accommodation in the Centre or in Lodges in the grounds. All facilities are on the level, so there's
no need to worry about how you will get around. Centre
Rooms
Most rooms in the main centre have en suite facilities with level entry shower rooms or bathrooms.
Specialist equipment such as hoists and cot sides are available upon request. All bedrooms are fitted with an electronic
call system.
Lodges
Lodges, designed for self-catering,
are wheel-chair accessible and have height adjusting kitchen benches. This allows easier access for guests to the hob and
sink. Some lodges have three twin rooms and some have one double and two twin rooms. Most of them have a ceiling
tracking hoist in a bedroom and some with access into the en suite bathroom. They have everything you need to
make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Centre Facilities
The centre is available and accessible for all
our guests to enjoy. You can socialise in the bar, keep up to date with programmes and news on our wide screen TV, catch
up with friends on email and facebook or simply chill out.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in the
dining room using two sittings for each meal. Tea, coffee and juice are available throughout the day and evening.
The indoor games room houses giant games of Scrabble, Connect Four and Jenga. You can also find a giant Chess board
permanently set up outside.
The Snoozelum Sensory Room is specially designed to deliver stimuli to various senses using
lighting effects, colour, sounds, music, scents and a combination of different materials on the walls and floor.
The
indoor heated hydrotherapy pool is complete with a hoist and steps. The pool and air temperature is kept several
degrees warmer than normal for comfort and is free of charge to all guests.
