In addition to drop-in sessions on Wednesdays we also organise trips to places of interest. Recent visits include:

A national award
winning health club designed specifically as an accessible facility for people of all ages and abilities within an extremely
high quality and relaxing environment.
Members enjoyed the swimming pool and hydro pool,
both at body temperature, the Floatation Tank and sampled the Holistic and Beauty Therapy. There is also a Gym, Sensory
Gardens and an Internet Cafe. Food being a permanent agenda item for our members they also tucked into an extensive
buffet prepared by the Club.

Calvert Trust Kielder
Set in the magnificent Kielder Water & Forest Park in Northumberland,
Calvert offers the opportunity for activity, care and tranquility for people with disabilities, their families and friends.
With plenty of beautiful open space and water, this is a great
venue to enjoy the outdoors - from fun packed activities to relaxation and peace and quiet around Kielder Water
On May 26 members enjoyed some of the activities on offer.
A session on the KingSwing, an experience more exiting than the big dipper, was probably not a good idea after lunch
but was great fun. We followed this by an opportunity to have a go at Archery where some hidden talents were
evident.
